Went to the mall today with a friend to help her check out some bareMinerals stuff. I've been a bareMinerals user since 2004, and I really do LOVE their products- so I was pretty excited about my friend trying it out. The shop was packed. My friend ended up having to schedule an appointment just to have them match her skin tone. Let me just say that when I purchased my bareMinerals starter kit 7 years ago, the starter kit came in Light, Medium, and Dark - I purchased the Medium which only came with 2 different foundations and one matched my skin tone perfectly. This saleswoman was seriously into her job as a make-up consultant, and didn't think 10 minutes was a sufficient time span in order to match my friend to her "true color". I get it; the boutique just opened, most people who come through are not familiar with your products... but bareMinerals have been around for YEARS ladies!! Get over yourselves! 10 minutes is PLENTY of time to match someone to their shade. If you don't want to take the time, Sephora is just down the way and they have the time.
Not sure why this irked me so much - perhaps I'm Pre PMSing... but UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
